Bridgeport Night Cap- Great winter beer!

Bridgeport Night Cap- Great winter beer!
On a Sunday night with the day off tomorrow thanks to MLK JR (RIP) I was in the mood for a nice beer. To begin the night I had a Black Stout from Bear Brewery which was pretty good- not great but I drank it pretty warm. However to end the night I had a cold Bridgeport beer from Oregon called "Nightcap" something like 33% aged in oak bourbon the rest of it being ale. Of all the winter beers I have had so far this is my favorite, weighing in at 7.2% ABV. The color is very nice, very rich not real dark- a tiny bit cloudy but really quality color. The suds were nice and thick, the beer was very smooth. The flavor is pretty unique, it's got a really nice aftertaste with nearly no bitterness- hard to describe exactly what it is. If it's below 50 degrees and you can find this beer I would highly recommend it.

8.2/10

On another note, had a nice night with my cousin, aunt, mom, dad and a German friend of my cousins. Always nice to have quality time with family, no matter the dysfunction in your family make sure you take the time to realize the ways in which your family is beneficial to your well being (I know, hard to find with a lot of em.) but I know it is there no matter who your family members are. In realizing their impact on your life, give back to them by just spending some time and enjoying some of their qualities. After all that's a cut of your own cloth and by learning about them it helps you learn about your own self as well.

The rat king

Well I tried to do some different blogs but the only one that got n e good hits was the it's always sunny one.

So...I will have a regular dedication to "it's always sunny in philadelphia" which I don't mind because it's an awesome show...certainly one of if not my favorite show on right now.

If you think it isn't- it probably is.

Ford Jobs

Since the old Henry Ford assembly line, Ford motor vehicles have been ahead of the curve when it comes to building cars. It should come as no surprise Ford Automobiles is ahead of the economic curve, hiring thousands of new employees this month with plans to hire thousands more in the coming months. Where is this success coming from? Likely from their recent spectacular line up of cars. The standard lineup is all there but with some nice new additions including the Fiesta, Flex, and Transit Connect.

Chug a lug, Chug a lug, Chug a lug, Chug a lug.

Tonights beer sponsor "Genesis beer" and though it has san francisco on the cover it is actually brewed in new york. SO.....I was able to overlook the SF reference. Not real dark a very maple looking color, the foam is not real thick- bit of an off white. It's a good beer, very smooth- goes well with garlic bread. Small bitter aftertaste but it's well rounded and it fades to something good- pretty nutty in the end. I would recomend it, though it is expensive- picked up a six pack on sale for $8.99 though not too bad. (Not the best beer- if you have one in mind go for that but you won't regret getting this one either.)

6.3/10

As you can gather, I like beers- lately its a hobby/interest of mine to try as many beers as I can. Dark beers being the type I go for, I cannot stand pale ale- it tastes like vomit to me. Which is strange to think that something that I like to enjoy so much like beer can taste like that. But to each his own I suppose...I've also had some fruity beers, those just taste like wine which I do not like.
Well if you are near my age you probably know of a little game called "Diablo II" and if that's the case then you are probably waiting for "Diablo III" good news though if you haven't already heard Diablo III is coming out 12/11/2011. Seems like they did that just to spook people....but hey maybe just a coincidence. (Day before the "end of the world")

BTW...if anyone is reading this. What do you all think of that end of the world bullshit? By my words you can assume my position but with all the buzz around it's hard not to feel like something is going to happen but it's just the Y2k bug all over again. Some people think all the power is going to go out, others think an astroid will hit, others think a nuclear war, then there is all the other things they think. Blah blah blah- bring it. I know my souls all good- I have no regrets. Anways see you all 1/2/2012 and the rest of the year as well.

Before I turn into a wearwolf...beer me!

I love a nice bottl of beer, if it were financially/physically possible I'd buy a bottle of beer from every brewing company across the globe. I like to see the labels, read the descriptions, hear the history, and of course rub the bottls on my forehead and chin. I love opening the bottles, it's christmas in july on a nice summer day or it could be if it were sunny or in july- regardless I can see the pressure steam rise out of the bottle. I tend to blow it away but sometimes i let it just float away into the air. Then there is the first sip, or if you already know the taste you can go ahead and gulp. You can feel and taste the combination of ingredients, timings of ingredients and overall preparation of the beer. You don't understand it fully until you swallow it away and understand the aftertones within the beer. Here's to brewer's around the world, keep on breweing and if you aren't distributing globally just yet here's to hoping!

Burn of Flight

Brain Damage

Lost in space that I call my place, level the plane- seal up the case.
Topics aside let me hear the chase, thoughts bind to reason- none in space.
Wires keep me shut in, freedom makes my blood thin, design is only binding.
Design leaves me blinded, mice never find me- cheese with their wine is dead.

jib jab, jib jab, jib jab.

Ding dong mofo- DING DONG!

I will smash your face into a jelly!

Bird of Prey

Welcome To My Domain

To start things off I will introduce myself, the name is Conrad. Well that's enough about me.

There was a spider named Spike who climbed on a boy who was riding his bike. He crawled down his ear so inside his mind he could sharply peer with his many eyes. Upon entering the boys ear he ran into an orange sticky slime, he thought to himself "I didn't know humans spun yarn?!" and before he could explore more so something poked him in the back, squishing him into the orange mucky muck. As he lay stuck inside the goop he twitched and wriggled in an attempt to get away. Peering into this boy's mind seemed much less appealing as he lay there worrying of death.

As this is my space, I do not intend to make it logical nor organized.
While I would like everyone to come and visit the blog- your appeal to the blog will hopefully be in finding something out of the ordinary- something strange, bizarre, interesting, funny, enjoyable, or who knows..maybe even inspiring.
