Shattering Isle

Glass all around the landscape, sculpted grains of sand.
Melted down, to be rebuilt in the image of its sculptor.
Displayed as the example for those whom are exempt.
But the illusion soon weathered from increasing contempt.
I miss the days when we could focus on actual tangible things.
Like that of the times of Jacqueline K. Barton.

Smile not wide enough, teeth not white enough, mind not bright enough.
Heck I'll be lucky if I come in 5th. Brothers not tried enough, Donald trump is president now?
